This 2006 townhome home overlooks a beautiful freshwater lake in Southwest Florida. The home had been on the market for a long time, a rental, and previously foreclosed on. There were no major flaws with the home so we decided to purchase and renovate it! That is where the fun began. Our first home was a new build that we did some DIY upgrades to, but nothing like a remodel. We wanted to save as much money as possible so chose to do almost all of it on our own.
The biggest selling point on this townhome was the neighborhood. It is a gated neighborhood with resort-style community pool/spa, clubhouse, pickle ball, tennis courts, fitness center, roller hockey rink, basketball courts, baseball field, and soccer field. It is a great place to start a family!
Now, it is up to my husband and I to DIY this townhome into our up to date dream modern farmhouse.
